What is VE Testing?
VE, or Volunteer Examiner, Testing.. is the procedure by which new amateur radio operators become licensed. A simple test is involved for the Technician level amateur radio license, with two additional levels – General and Extra, also available. QRZ, a website featuring vast amounts of information on amateur radio, has a good collection of practice tests and study guides available free online.
When is VE Testing?
We usually offer to test at our regular monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month provided that we have 3 VEs at the meeting.
Any scheduling differences for a particular test session will be noted on this site before a test session.
