The Sabine Valley Amateur Radio Association operates the K5GVL repeater located in South Greenville.  The repeater is open to all licensed amateurs. Please feel free to use it when in the area. It is a Vertex VXR-9000 operating on 146.780 – 114.8 pl @ 50 watts.  Antenna is a Decibel Products DB224-E @ 160 feet mounted on top of Hunt Regional Hospital.  The repeater provides excellent coverage for all of Hunt County & well into the surrounding counties. The K5GVL repeater is the National Weather Service Skywarn frequency for Hunt County.
